What Can I Do in Penticton?

We are located a few short blocks from Skaha Lake and one of its many beautiful beaches. There is no shortage of fine restaurants and dining establishments in the area and wine touring is popular in Penticton and the Okanagan.

Check in with the Visitor Centre, which lists 44 wineries within a 20-minute drive. It also hosts a VQA (Vintners Quality Alliance) boutique where staff are happy to give visitors wine-tasting tutorials, to teach guests how to swirl, sniff and sip like a pro (spitting optional).

Hiking and rock climbing are popular in the Okanagan, as are fishing, sailing, many types of watersport, sun-bathing on the beach, hiking, para-sailing, skydiving, guided heli tours and much, much more. The local scenery provides for excellent photography, with a chance to capture some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world.
